We know that relationships with others and our communities are important, but what about the relationship we have with ourselves?

If we are disconnected from ourselves, our values, our bodies or our mental health, other relationships could suffer or end up in conflict.

There are many reasons we become disconnected from ourselves, it could be that we are experiencing a combination of any of these:

  • Anxiety

  • undefined goals

  • Depression

  • Relocation

  • Grueling schedules

  • Burnout

  • Stress

  • Relationships

  • Setting boundaries

  • Life transitions

  • Unexpected challenges

I am passionate about working with individuals who want to connect or re-connect to themselves by becoming intentional about what they need and want in their lives. I believe that we all have the answers within ourselves in order to thrive, but we need to be willing to reach out for support, surround ourselves with people who are going to foster this work, and take the time to be still and listen to what our bodies and minds are telling us.

Working with a therapist can give you the space and time you need to:

My goal as a therapist is to collaborate with each of my clients. I use a strengths-based approach. This means that I believe you are the expert of your life, unique and an individual. I am here to be a support to you, gently challenge you, and provide accountability. I enjoy the process of exploring connection with clients using expressive arts activities such as journaling, story, relaxation, play, goal setting and provide plenty of space for you to process your thoughts and ideas to create intentions that inspire YOU.

When you build a strong connection to yourself you will then strengthen your connections to others and your communities.
